I eagerly welcome you back to the Edinburgh Men’s Golf Association and Edinburgh USA Golf Course for the 2011 golf season. I hope you had the opportunity to get away from this rather long, old fashion winter; can you believe there has been snow on the ground since November 16!
We are extremely excited about the upcoming golf season and look forward to the course being in great shape and the club being the fun, exciting golf experience that you expect and deserve. No big changes are in store now that we have the lining of the 17th hole completed, not all of you got to see the finished product last October but it sure came out great and we have that rather embarrassing period behind us and can once again be proud of what many think is our signature hole.
Back for this season is a Member Buying Plan for purchasing golf clubs and allowing you to use gift certificates that you haven’t won yet. We started it a couple years ago and have had great success and feedback, see me for more details. This season our main line in the golf shop is once again TaylorMade clubs and balls, and adidas shoes but we have accounts with most of the manufacturers. Put Wednesday, May 4th on your schedule this year for our TaylorMade Demo Day from 10:30 – 3:00; you will definitely want to hit the new white R11 drivers, fairway woods and hybrids – they have taken all worldwide tours by storm, when it comes to golf clubs, “White is now in!”
